As the EU prepares its next budget cycle, lessors and new entrants are joining forces to call for a bold, future-focused successor to the European Rail Joint Undertaking under the upcoming European Research Framework Programme.

We hope that the successor to Europe’s Rail will shift its approach in favour of innovation that supports the development and modernisation of rail, promotes the commercial success of operators and stimulates sustainability and competitiveness across the sector.
