Secretary General Nick Brooks led a delegation to visit Ukrainian Railways at its Headquarters in Kyiv, Ukraine, and handed over €100.000 donation cheque to purchase food packages for Ukrainian rail workers in the warzone

The Chairman of the Trade Union of Railwaymen and -women, Olexiy Semerun, and the CEO of UZ’s Passenger Rail division, Alexander Pertsovskyi, received the cheque from Nick Brooks, Co-Chair of the Global Ukraine Rail Task Force, Cristina Hammersmark from the Norwegian rail infrastructure manager Bane NOR and Jan Strecker, Managing Director of the charity WE AID (part of the global charity United Way). Together with them, other colleagues also attended the ceremony (see the photo above).
