Just 17 Euros Can Help Feed A Ukrainian Railway Worker’s Family In The Warzone – And 24,000 More Families Need This Help

In Ukraine, railway workers at the frontline of the war are facing a desperate food shortage. These brave men and women work tirelessly to keep the trains running, often risking their lives to do so. They are in urgent need of our help.

This is why the Global Ukraine Rail Task Force launched a new campaign to provide food for railway workers and families in the warzone. 6,000 food packages are already being distributed to Ukrainian railway workers at the frontline of the war. Each one consists of flour, pasta, rice, salt, corn and wheat grits, oil, canned fish and meat, pate, tea, condensed milk, sugar, and biscuits.

Each food package costs about €17/ $20/ £15. But there are still about 24,000 more railway workers at the frontline of Russia’s War of Aggression. And they have limited access to food supply. Therefore: even more financial donations are needed.

Watch this heartwarming video of the railway workers expressing their gratitude for the food packages they have received. Your donation can help bring this kind of relief to thousands more:

However, time is running out. There are a total of about 30,000 railway workers and their families in the warzone. And they all play an essential role to keep the network and services going. We need your help now to reach our goal of providing 24,000 more food packages.

Consequently, we encourage everyone to donate (in Euros, British Pounds, US Dollars or other leading currencies) on the secure payment platform of our verified charity partner United Way/WE AID and help feed the brave workers on the frontlines of the war:

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference. Just €17/ $20/ £15 helps provide one food package for an entire family, giving them the sustenance they need to survive. Your donation will make a real difference in the lives of these brave workers and their families.
