On 20–21 May 2025, Aurélie Csizmazia, representative of ALLRAIL, attended the Joint Workshop on Reducing the Cost of High-Speed Rail Construction in Madrid. The event was co-organised by the European Commission (DG MOVE), the Spanish Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Sustainable Mobility, and ADIF, Spain’s railway infrastructure manager.

The workshop gathered experts from ministries, infrastructure managers, and engineering companies involved in high-speed rail projects, with a focus on reducing construction costs along the nine TEN-T corridors. Participants discussed strategies and shared recommendations aimed at enhancing cost-efficiency, sustainability, and innovation in the development of high-speed rail across Europe.
