ALLRAIL President Elmer van Buuren Spoke at the 23rd Conference of the European Passengers’ Federation.

The conference, titled “Connecting Europeans”, brought together passenger organisations, policymakers, rail sector representatives and mobility stakeholders to discuss how Europe can deliver better, more seamless and more passenger-focused public transport.

Elmer van Buuren contributed ALLRAIL’s perspective as the voice of Europe’s passenger rail new entrants. His intervention will underline that a truly European passenger rail system requires more than ambition: it needs fair market access, open and non-discriminatory ticketing, better cross-border connectivity, access to rolling stock and infrastructure, and a regulatory framework that allows independent operators to grow.
